A Bit About Me

👋 Hi there! My name is Matt Moncur, and I'm a Software Developer based in Toronto. I currently work as a Senior iOS Engineer at Flipp, a tech company that who's goal is to make the paper flyer extinct and to help people on their quest to save money. Before that I worked at Sensibill, a startup that does digital receipts management for small businesses and freelancers.

Over the years I’ve had the privilege of working with some pretty amazing people, that have taken the time to mentor me and have “poured into my cup”. Now I want to give back, share what I know, and hopefully leave people with some gems along the way. I believe that software is to be treated as a craft, that it isn't about writing code that works, but well-crafted software that solves real problems and brings value to people's lives.
